Christopher Galley – Devil Chicken Design Artist Bio
Christopher Galley is a native of Buffalo, NY who received his BS and MS in Art Education at Buffalo State College. He currently maintains a studio and home on the West Side of Buffalo. The majority of his work deals with the influences that surrounded him growing up. He is a product of the 1970’s and 80’s. Growing up he ingested a diet of visual imagery like Evel Knievel, Steve McQueen and the visceral scenery of too many horror movies. His work has a connection to the dangerous and the horrifying while connecting to the ideas of perseverance, beauty, and history.
The style of his work ranges from fine art paintings to commercial commissions. He paints on anything from canvas, motorcycle helmets, gas tanks to surf and skateboards. His range of media and subject matter depend on the job at hand, but they are always unique.
